There are many causes of weight gain, and each individual’s case is unique. The common approach of counting calories, intense workouts, or following fad diets may benefit some, but may not suit others. According to traditional health systems, congestion in the liver or colon, emotional eating, poor food habits, weak digestion, and hormonal shifts—such as during menopause or thyroid changes—can all play a role. I take a holistic view of each individual to help identify the underlying causes and make customized recommendations based on traditional dietary principles and herbal support. In many cases, visible progress occurs once the root causes are addressed and proper dietary improvements are made.  Weight-loss Treatment Details

Understanding & diagnosing your muscles, Mamas Dhatu, according to Ayurveda

Mamsa Dhatu: Muscles The term “mamsa dhatu” literally means “flesh” or “meat,” in Ayurveda it refers to the muscles of the body. Mamsa dhatu is more than muscle; it is the provider of strength, courage, and self-confidence. When healthy, our muscles work in a modest fashion to express the needs and desires of the ego, while also available to express the creative inspiration. In other words, our flesh (body) is the part that identifies with the ego according to ayurveda.
